The Valley State Bank is a community bank that has operated under the same name since it was founded in 1897. Since establishment, the financial institution has grown and opened branch locations in Derby, KS and Wichita, KS.

In 2016, Valley State Bank opened a full-service educational branch inside Campus High School, Wichita, KS to promote financial literacy and be more involved in the community.

In March 2022, Valley State Bank opened a new location in East Wichita and entered into a partnership with Trinity Academy to provide financial literacy training and student internships.
